Little Macs

Little Macs needed a cohesive brand and a website that would make its macarons easier for customers to discover and order. Porcupine Web Design helped build the business’s visual identity and online storefront from the ground up, giving the owner a dedicated place to showcase products, accept orders, and share upcoming farmers market appearances.
Porcupine Web Design partnered with Little Macs to develop its brand and establish its online presence. The project included a new website, logo development, brand colors, graphic design, copywriting, e-commerce setup, and Google Business Management. The website also gives the business a place to share where customers can find it at local farmers markets.

The Starting Point

The business behind the project.

Little Macs is a macaron business based in Huntsville, Alabama. The business began as a cottage baking operation and has continued to grow its customer demand and production needs.

The Challenge

Little Macs lacked a dedicated website, cohesive branding, and consistent marketing materials. The owner needed a central online destination where customers could learn about the business, browse and order products, and find out which farmers markets the business would attend.

The Approach

A foundation built around the business.

Porcupine Web Design built the website from the ground up while working with the owner to develop a cohesive visual identity. This included logo design, brand colors, graphic design, and website copywriting. E-commerce functionality supports both shipping and local pickup, giving customers flexible ways to order macarons. Google Business Management helped establish the business’s online presence, while the website provides a central place to promote upcoming farmers market appearances.

The Outcome

What changed for the business

Little Macs gained a cohesive brand identity, a dedicated website, and an online storefront that supports both shipped orders and local pickup. Customers can browse products, choose a convenient ordering option, and find information about upcoming farmers market appearances. As demand has grown, the owner has moved beyond a home-based cottage baking operation and now rents commercial kitchen space to keep up with production needs.
